Knowledge Management is a newly emerging, business model dealing with all aspects of knowledge. It is the process of transforming information and intellectual assets into enduring value by promoting learning and innovation.
What is Knowledge Management ?
Aren't we managing knowledge already? Well, no. In fact, most of the
time we're making a mess of managing information. In practice, the
terms information/data and knowledge are often used interchangeably
by business companies. However, the term knowledge is also refers to unstructured information such as human experiences, Ideas and assumptions, human resources etc.

their locations. SharePoint overcomes this by allowing you to
store and locate your files in a central site. Sharing work
files through email is a cumbersome process. SharePoint
eliminates this by allowing files to be stored in one location,
allowing easy access to all team members.

in different countries, office locations, separate departments
or at your home office. SharePoint enables teams and individuals
to connect and collaborate together regardless of where they are
located. In addition, SharePoint allows anyone to create sites for use within

departmental sites, document libraries, meetings sites, survey
sites, or discussion boards
BPM - Business Process Management A business process is a set of coordinated tasks and activities, conducted by both people and equipment, that will lead to accomplishing a specific organizational goal.
It seek to make business processes more effective and capable of adapting to an ever-changing
environment.
BI - Business Intelligence Tools Business Intelligence (BI) is the interactive process of analyzing and exploring information to discern trends or patterns, thereby deriving insights and drawing conclusions.
Business intelligence is
a broad category of applications and technologies for gathering, and
analyzing data.
